Meet Dr. Toby Hampton, MD
Dr. Hampton has deep roots in West Tennessee. He grew up in Huntingdon, graduating from Huntingdon High School in 1994, and went on to earn a B.S. in Biology from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1998. He received his Doctor of Medicine from James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University in 2002 and went on to serve as Chief Resident at ETSU’s Family Medicine Residency Program, completing his accelerated residency in 2004.
After residency, Dr. Hampton returned to West Tennessee and opened his own private practice in McKenzie, where he cared for patients from 2004 to 2019. He has also shared his expertise as an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at ETSU Quillen College of Medicine in 2021.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Hampton is a proud father of three; Noah, Jonah, and Isabella. He loves playing the saxophone, harmonica, and piano, enjoys hiking, and has a soft spot for animals.
